October 15th
Tonight we braved a city without a local tour guide!!! We jumped on a bus (cost 1 RMB = 15 cents) to head to the South Gate of Xi'an. Xi'an is one of the few cities that still has the remnants of their old city walls. Admission to the wall was 54 RMB ($9). It gave you a nice view of the city and a view of the old roofs on the city buildings. Your royal status was signified by the roof type you had on your house.

Today we explore the terra cotta warriors! It is located outside of Xi'an and will require a bus ride.
