We spent the day exploring Xi'an. Dad decided to hangout around the hotel today to recover some from all the walking. His knee was starting to bother him. He did enjoy some people watching at a nearby plaza / mall.
Leon, his mom, my mom, and I had breakfast together. Mom and I had street food egg sandwiches and Leon and his mom had wutong soup and some fried noodles.

On our way to breakfast, we saw this amazing activity. The employees from a nearby store all came out, lined up, and did a line dance. It was fun to watch. I wish work started out with a line dance everyday at the VA :) Check out this video. The women and men employees all had to do it.
After breakfast, we caught a taxi to the Green Dragon Buddhist Temple. With only 4 of us, we only need one taxi rather than two, which made transporting us a bit easier. The temple was very nice. I will update with the story of the temple later. Leon was really excited to visit this place as this is the Buddhism practice he follows.
We caught another taxi to the Giant Wild Goose (Da Yan) Pagoda. In front of the tower was a neat water show that started soon after we arrived. They played western music and then Chinese music and kept switching. It was fun to watch and the show ended up being about 30 minutes. We just took some pictures outside the tower and decided against going inside.
Jumped in another taxi to head towards the food street. This was located in a Muslim district in Xi'an. We tried some egg dish and then dumplings. We also tried a stir fried tofu and a persimmon doughnut filled with kiwi. This area was intense with vendors and pedestrians.
At this point, my mom and I split from Leon and his mom. Leon and his mom continued eating food on the food street. My mom and I went to the Drum Tower and the Bell Tower. Each had a performance that was really neat to see. I recorded bits of each but will upload later. I also recorded some of the street food area.

We met back up and took the subway to the hotel to see if dad wanted to join us for dinner. Leon and his mom were still full; so my family headed over to the mall. Parents got stir fried dishes but I decided to have McDonalds. No judging! Each bite was delicious. I had a spicy chicken sandwich, fries, and a coke. The coke even had ice!!!
After dinner, I went to H&M to check out the China fashion. Here are some examples!
